A slewing mobile crane has a jib or a boom that rotates. The rotating turn-table section offers greater site access and slewing versatility. It can be anchored in place while the boom continues to operate in a 360° circle. Non-slewing cranes don’t have rotation joints, thus impeding your slewing range and ability.

Students enrolling in the 60-Tonne Slewing Mobile Crane Course must be at least 18 years of age and fulfil the in-person training requirements. These require a practical demonstration and a written component. HRTA has a state-of-the-art, purpose-built training ground in Ingleburn, NSW. This site offers the necessary training equipment and fully qualified trainers and assessors.
You will receive a Statement of Attainment upon meeting all requirements. These include payment of fees and course completion. An accredited SafeWork NSW assessor will issue your High-Risk Work Licence.
